Jack shepherd is a doctor. He worked in one of the biggest hospitals in America. He was a spinal surgeon. His father was a doctor too and all of Jacks life his farther pushed him to never fail at anything that is thrown at him. His father helped him into his career to become a spinal surgeon and to start working in one of the biggest hospitals in America. Later in life, his dad becomes a drunkie and drinks himself unconscious every night. It left jack to attend to all of his father’s patients and it was becoming too much. Jack was getting married soon and his father was persuading him not to marry the women he loved. His dad was jealous of his son Jack Shepperd.
Jack and his wife got married. Then his father made life very hard for him. He slept with his son’s wife and Jack started to hate his father for that. Then his father died a couple of months later from too much alcohol. Jack missed his father greatly and wanted to give him a proper funeral. He wanted to take his father back to Sydney to give him his funeral there (where Jacks family were). Jack got on Oceanic flight 8.1.5 and they flew from America to Sydney.
They never made it to Sydney though. The plane crashed on an island. Jack was then in charge of the survivors and become the leader. There were 40 survivors and he had to lead them all. Jack was worried because his father’s body was not on the plane and Jack got cross about this. He kept seeing his dad following him and he couldn’t figure out why it was happening so often. It felt to him that he had to find his dad somewhere on the island and give him a funeral. Jack found his coffin and his father was not in the coffin. Jack was very confused and didn’t know why this was. Jack forgot about this and decided to help everyone else and to find a way off the island.
Jack is a big part in lost. He is the hero - the person who protects most of them.
